WHERE: On the northern bank of the Mehi River, just west of Moree, New South
Wales
WHY: The site containing a 20
year old residence was purchased to enable the young family to
live close to Moree, rather than on the farm approx. 40Km further west.
Redevelopment of the original residence was one option
examined in depth. The other option was to
replace it with a modern structure capable to fulfilling all needs for a growing
family also operating a significant business from the office portion of the
residence. All new spaces enjoy river views.
‘Riverside’ capably and readily fulfils all of the Clients’ needs in an elegant
translation of traditional Australian ‘homestead’ architecture.
